Sup folks. I'm searching for a new laptop to replace my old one that just aint workin right anymore. I'm looking for suggestions from you guys, considering a lot of you guys are computer experts. I was thinking about a dell, but a lot of my friends said to pass on the dell and go with a macbook. I have never owned a mac, and im really not sure if i wanna become one of those mac users.

I'm looking to spend around the $800-$1000 range. I was maybe looking into getting a gaming laptop, but the ones I've found seem to be super expensive, and i dunno if im ready to commit all that money yet. If you guys can give me some suggestions on good non-gaming laptops and gaming laptops as well, i'd much appreciate it.

Also, you guys think I should just buy a new PC later on for gaming and buy a regular laptop now?
